i've been thinking about these guys lately... like who are they? as people i mean.

like we, as the public, have some concept of who an american soldier is. there is some notion of serving your country, giving back. and of believing in something. and there is all sorts of concern and even protest from the public and family members that these folks should not be dying in iraq. and then also ideas of some of the soldiers being too young, or whatever. and an idea that the soldiers didn't choose this situation. that they are dying for the mistakes of others.

but what about these professionals, these security guys. they have familes too? and yet they are totally different. they are just doing a job. nothing high and mighty. no patriotic duty. just a hazardous job. turns the whole prospect of invasion into something mundane don't you think?

and do they have to take any crazy drugs?
