US Senate Candidate Constantly on Candid Camera

Obama is finding himself tailed by a man with a camera everywhere he goes, (Chicago) NBC5's Anita Padilla reported. For the past 10 days, Justin Warfel has stayed within two feet of Obama at all times, recording everything he says to constituents, listening to cell phone conversations with Obama's wife, and even waiting for Obama outside the restroom.

Jason Miller, Ryan's campaign manager, told the Chicago Sun-Times that Obama's movements are fair game, and that the point of the constant taping was to make sure Obama did not contradict himself with his public statements.
"If I've got my own media source, if I've got my own video camera, then I can find out Tuesday afternoon what he said, and we can respond Tuesday afternoon rather than Wednesday morning," said Bill Pascoe, Ryan's communications director.

I don't see how this can hurt Obama. Seems like a desperate and expensive thing for his opponent to do. What's the hourly rate for a union cameraman? Obama must have a comfortable lead in the polls if Ryan's campaign feels it has to 'respond' all the time. By the way, people who'll vote for Obama don't care what he says; he's young, he's brown.
Ryan was married to a movie star? Jeri Ryan?
I don't approve of cameras as excuses for harassment. I carry a camera everywhere. I don't need to feel like a criminal.
