Mr. Gibson's drunken behavior is not that interesting. In my family alcoholism is passed on in our genes. I've seen drunken tirades. True, I've never heard drunks go off on Jews, but I imagine there are still communities where bigotry is acceptable, part of the tradition. But in America only the rich can afford to be this prejudiced. This story caught my attention, not only because it was all over the news but because after hearing about the crap he put the police officer through I can't understand how Gibson avoided being tasered, clubbed or shot.
>From Unknown News a different take:
Comment: "Interesting timing: An ordinary person who takes exception with any of Israel's recent policy decisions risks being accused of anti-Semitism. Meanwhile, a millionaire spouting actual anti-Semitic rhetoric to police officers in public will probably suffer no loss of popularity of all". --Madeline Zane
