The Neoliberal Curse: Absolute Capitalism
The role of government is confined to
creating and supporting markets,
protecting private property and defending the nation
Everything else will be carried out
by private enterprise, which will be prompted
by the profit motive to supply services
The conditions that neoliberalism demands
in order to free human beings
from the slavery of the state
- minimal taxes, the dismantling of
public services and social security,
deregulation, the breaking of the unions
- just happen to be the conditions required
to make the elite even richer,
while leaving everyone else to sink or swim
In practice neoliberalism is no more than
an elaborate disguise for a wealth grab

The CEO's with their vigilant eyes on their quarterly earnings will rush in to save us if the wealth grab by their competitors puts too much of a strain on America's consumers, won't they? The market is the ultimate democracy!
